1,369 Arrested, 717 Detained In Sabarimala Flare-Up So Far

Police have registered 801 cases related to the violence that broke out after various Hindu groups called for a state-wide shutdown of shops and other establishments to protest against the entry of women into the Sabarimala shrine.
