Search locates two missing children in Willetton

Police have found two children who went missing from the south-eastern suburb of Lynwood on Friday.

The 11-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy disappeared about 1.30pm near Cromer Place, Lynwood.

In a statement police said the children were not from that area and concerns were held for their safety and welfare as they might have got lost.

They were found around 11.30pm in Willetton, safe and well.

Police thanked the public for their assistance.
