Bishop Stang boys' swimming and diving remained perfect by downing Seekonk 95-75 in their meet on Thursday in Seekonk.

Individual event winners for Stang (4-0) included Caleb Hughes (diving, 198.70 points, state qualifier), Drew Kelly (individual medley, 2:13.85), Zac Lapalme (50 free, 23.84), Dmitry Gauntt (500 free, 5:25.83) and Patrick Clark (breaststroke, 1:11.36).

 

GIRLS' SWIMMING AND DIVING

Seekonk 101, Bishop Stang 76: At Seekonk, Camille Gendron (diving, 203.35 points) and Jenna Silva (individual medley, 2:36.04) were event winners for the Spartans (1-3) in this loss.

 

BOYS' BASKETBALL

West Warwick 75, Tiverton 61: At West Warwick, R.I., Carson Hart scored 24 points for the Tigers (2-2) in this Rhode Island Division II loss.

Will Brigham of Tiverton had 15 points, 11 in the second half, and teammate Josh Dore nailed three 3-pointers in scoring 11 points.

West Warwick (3-1) led 36-29 at halftime.

 

BOYS' TRACK AND FIELD

West Bridgewater 58, Diman 42: At Wheaton College in Norton, James Vacanti (600, 1:40) and Ed Fuentes (55 meters, 6.95) turned in first places for the Bengals (1-2) in this loss.

Cam Botelho (hurdles, 9.3), Sean Lobo (300, 39.22) and Liam Mooney (1000, 3:30) posted second places for Diman.

 

GIRLS' TRACK AND FIELD

West Bridgewater 89, Diman 10: At Wheaton College in Norton, Lorelei Hetzler posted a second place in the 1,000 (4:11) and a third in the mile (7:00) for the Bengals (1-3) in this loss.

Also for Diman, Shakyra Joseph was second in the 55 meters, Kim Lajoie posted thirds in the 300 (49.4) and long jump (12-0), and Sara Almeida was third in the shot (22-6).

Bishop Feehan 10, Durfee 1: At Driscoll Arena, Cole LaForce scored for the Hilltoppers (0-7) in this loss.
