NEW DELHI: Gains in shares of Oberoi Realty (up 2.84 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 1.58 per cent), DLF (up 1.19 per cent) and Godrej Properties (up 0.60 per cent) were keeping the Nifty Realty index in Friday's session.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.66 per cent up at 236 around 02:50 pm.
However, shares of Sobha (down 3.26 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 1.64 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (down 0.40 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.34 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises (down 0.14 per cent) were in the negative territory at that time.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39 points at 10,711, while the BSE Sensex was up 150 points at 35,663.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.
Bharti Infratel, YES Bank, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors and State Bank of India were among the top gainers in the Nifty index.
On the flip side, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys and IndusInd Bank were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
