APPSC recruitment notification 2019 for various posts released at psc.ap.gov.in, check details

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) chairman U Uday Bhaskar, on Friday, said that a total of 21 notifications were released by the body to fill 3,255 posts in the state government.
Uday Bhaskar said that 14 more notifications are pending and are awaiting government orders or clarifications on syllabus from the concerned departments. This amounts to 1,521 posts including 330 Forest Beat Officer and 100 Assistant Beat officer posts.
The APPSC chief appealed to the candidates to follow the official website regularly and apply for the posts a few days before the deadline to avoid last-minute havoc.
Of the posts for which applications have already been called form 56,600 applications were submitted for 1,051 Panchayat Secretary posts and 47,100 applications have been submitted for the 309 Assistant Executive Engineer posts, he said. As many as 5,411 applications have been received for 23 Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspector posts and 1,307 applications were received for 39 Horticulture Officer posts.
The dates for application of other posts have also been published on the official website, said the APPSC officials.
Uday Bhaskar also confirmed that a common cut off mark will be set for the Group exams and from this year, an additional Telugu paper will be included in the exam to ensure that the candidate know the local language while dealing with issues at local level.
“If the reservation seats are not filled with the common cut off mark, the bar will be reduced according to the reservation category to ensure all vacancies are filled,” he said.
