Cape Town - Sophia Grace Brownlee and her cousin Rosie McClelland were first discovered by talk show host Ellen DeGeneres in 2011 when they did an adorable version of Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass.
The tiny talents were soon viral superstars and even had their own movie – released in 2014 - titled Sophia Grace and Rosie's Royal Adventure which was filmed in South Africa.
Now Sophia Grace is back and recently released a music video for her new song, Can’t Sleep, in which she raps.
The edgier look and tone of the video – compared to her early days in the spotlight – has left the internet shook, something that the young artist touches on in the intro to the video saying, “People saying they want me to be the same as I was before. It annoys me because I’m not that person anymore and they always ask me to go back to how I was, but I’m different and that’s not who I am,”.
