One more arrested in Cosmos Bank cyber attack

Pune: Officials of the Cyber Crime Cell(CCC) of the City Police Crime Branch on Friday arrested one Mohanlal Rathod who hails from Rajasthan and works at a pharmacy store in Vishrantwadi in the Cosmos Bank cyber attack case.
 
Police Inspector Jayram Paygude of CCC said the accused withdrawn Rs 3.5 lakh from different ATMs using cloned cards in Mumbai. 

The accused has completed B.Pharmacy course and was earlier working at a pharmacy store in Mumbai. 

The hackers involved in the Rs 94.42 crore Cosmos Bank heist had used 171 ATM cards from Pune and 428 ATM cards from other places during the crime in August 2018.
