Suzuki Hayabusa 2019 – What you need to know

The Suzuki Hayabusa remains largely unchanged on the design front, however to spice things up for the 2019 edition, Suzuki has introduced the bike in two new colour schemes, namely Metallic Oort Gray and Glass Sparkle Black. The bike also gets updated graphics and to suit our Indian conditions, the Hayabusa now gets a pair of side relfectors as well.

The Hayabusa continues to be powered by the 1340cc four stroke fuel injected liquid-cooled engine with dual overhead cams and it comes fitted with a six speed gearbox. The engine is capable of delivering a peak power output of 199.7 PS at 9,500 rpm and a stonking 115 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. Despite its ability to hit speeds in excess of 300 km/h, the Hayabusa has also built its following on the fact that it is a rather easy motorcycle to ride and boasts of a refinement that few others can boast of brought about by a broad torque band and the fact that this bike accelerates to three digit speeds effortlessly.

The advanced aerodynamics that the Hayabusa comes with offers superb wind protection while hitting those high speeds which allows the rider to avoid wind blast and it not only reduces fatigue but also helps in allowing the rider to maintain better control.

Priced at INR 13,73,364, the Suzuki Hayabusa is imported as a CKD and assembled at the company’s facility in Manesar near Gurugram.
