Ferrari’s Maranello Museum Opens Michael Schumacher Exhibition

To celebrate the 50th birthday of legendary Formula One champion Michael Schumacher, a special exhibition has been created at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello.

Dubbed ‘Michael 50’, the exhibition takes an in-depth look at Schumacher’s hugely successful career in F1, where he claimed 91 victories, 155 podiums, and seven world titles.

The most impressive element of the exhibition is the ‘Hall of Victories’ where some of the finest Ferrari Formula 1 cars driven by Schumacher are on display. These include the F310 which he drove in 1996 and claimed three victories with it. Additionally, the Ferrari F399 with which Ferrari won the Constructors’ title in 1999 is featured.

Some of the other ex-F1 cars driven by Schumacher featured in the Hall of Victories are the F1-2000 which Schumacher drove to secure his first championship with Ferrari. There are also the F2002, F2004, and the 248 F1 from 2006 which was driven to victory at the Chinese Grand Prix in what was Schumacher’s 72nd, and final, victory with the Prancing Horse.

Beyond featuring these F1 cars, the exhibition includes pristine examples of the 430 Scuderia and California, two road-going Ferrari models which Schumacher helped develop.

The ‘Michael 50’ exhibition is running alongside the ‘Driven by Enzo’ and ‘Passion and Legend’ displays at the Ferrari museum.
