Teen thrown from car at remote Queensland property
A teenage boy suffered serious back injuries when he was thrown from a car at a rural Queensland property on Thursday.
The high school-aged driver was seriously injured when the car rolled at a Meandarra property, about 240 kilometres west of Toowoomba.
An RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the crash about 12:20pm with a critical-care doctor, a paramedic, pilot and air crew officer.
The boy has been airlifted to Toowoomba hospital with serious back injuries, but in a stable condition.
He was accompanied by his mother.
