Tamil Nadu Combined Civil Services (Group 1) application process begins today, prelims on March 3

NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online application for 139 Group 1 vacancies.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through official TNPSC website (tnpsc.gov.in) up to January 31, 2019.

The application process for Group 1 posts - Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category -1), Assistant Commission (C.T), Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, District Registrar, Assistant Director of Rural Development, District Employment Officer and District Officer (Fire and Rescue Service) - is beginning today i.e., on January 3, 2018.

The TNPSC Group 1 preliminary examination will be conducted on March 3, 2019.

The candidates are advised to submit only one application even if he/she opts for more than one post.

FEES


Registration Fee: Rs 150/-


Applicants who have already registered in One-Time Registration system within the validity period of 5 years are exempted. Those who have registered in One-Time Registration system and paid the Registration fee i.e., Rs.150/-, it is enough to pay the examination fee alone.


Preliminary Examination Fee: Rs 100/-


The Preliminary Examination fee should be paid at the time of submitting the online application for this recruitment if they are not eligible for the fee concession noted below.


Main Written Examination Fee: Rs 200/-

The Main Written Examination fee should be paid later only by those applicants who are admitted to the Main Written Examination based on the result of Preliminary Examination and on receipt of intimation from Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, if they are not eligible for fee concession.
