Parliament elections review meetings from today

The Telangana Congress is yet to decide on the alliance with its partners for the Lok Sabha polls while the party is likely to fight the Panchayat elections alone as they are held not on party basis.

There was no discussion on the allainces for the Lok Sabha polls when the AICC leadership held a meeting with AICC incharge for Telangana R.C. Khuntia and TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy in New Delhi on Thursday. The meeting only discussed the road map for panchayat and Parliament polls without even mentioning the alliances.

“As of now alliance exists and we never disassociated from the alliance,” Mr. Khuntia said without commenting on whether it will continue or not for Parliament elections. Mr. Khuntia and Mr. Uttam Reddy had a meeting with the senior AICC functionaries and AICC secretaries where they were briefed about the roadmap for preparation for the Parliament polls.
