Welcome back to Hell's Kitchen.

The first teaser for the second season of Marvel's The Punisher is here, and in the video Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) and Billy Russo (Ben Barnes) are both coming to terms with their new selves.

"Someone told me once, life is just trying not to be lonely," Frank laments, before Billy's voice chimes in with, "It's like a bomb went off inside my mind, scattering all of the pieces" as he unravels the medical wrap that's covering his now-mangled mug. "Every time I try to put the pieces together, something won't fit," Frank says to finish his sentiment.

"There's something on the edges, someone, like a dark shadow waiting for me," Billy continues in a more agitated tone as his creepy, new two-toned Jigsaw mask comes into view. "This face has everything that I ever did wrong written all over it."

Both men are furious and clearly chomping at the bit to pick up where they last left off, and while Billy seems to still be in the process of adapting to his new identity, Frank knows exactly who he is: "You need to let me be what I'm meant to be," he says calmly, while sporting his Punisher zip-up and a very imposing weapon. "I'm not the one who dies. I'm the one who does the killing."

The teaser closes by revealing the Season 2 release date: Friday, Jan. 18, which means fans have just two weeks to wait until the intensity begins anew with these two.

Marvel's The Punisher Season 1 is currently available on Netflix.
