HYDERABAD: TRS working president KT Rama Rao has asked his cadre to ensure TRS wins 16 of 17 Lok Sabha seats so that the party will have a say in formation of the next central government. "When there is a government installed by us at the Centre, we can make it bend to demands and meet our needs to develop Telangana," he said at a party workers meet on Wednesday.
"The fact that three states have decided to emulate Telangana by replicating Rythu Bandhu, and the Centre also is considering it, is testimony to how much respect KCR and the TRS command at the national level," he said. KTR asked partymen to enrol voters in large numbers as there was time up to January 25. KTR is assessing the outcome of the assembly polls and is not all too happy about the party's performance, though it won 88 out of 119 seats. Meanwhile, KTR reacted to HC bifurcation on his twitter handle. "Telangana has got its own HC due to tenacious efforts of our Hon'ble CM KCR Garu & respected Members of Parliament..."
