Austin Waugh, the son of former captain Steve Waugh, was named among the substitute fielders for Australia in the fourth and final Test against India at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Austin could take the field at some point during the game at the venue where his father played his last Test - against the same opposition - in 2004. Incidentally, Parthiv Patel was India's wicketkeeper for that game, and he is a part of the Indian squad now. Austin, 19, is a medium-pace bowling all-rounder. He is yet to play first-class cricket. He was a part of the Australia squad for the Under-19 World Cup earlier this year, where they finished second best to India. If he gets a chance to field, Austin would be hoping to do a repeat of his stunning catch at the SCG last month in a T20 semi-final.
