A badly damaged 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante is currently up for grabs over at Copart and while it won’t fulfill your Lamborghini ownership fantasies, it could be a good money-maker for a brave buyer.
When viewed from the front and passenger side, this Huracan Performante looks just like any other to leave Lamborghini’s factory. However, a look at the driver’s side and the rear end reveals extensive cosmetic damage that has taken the supercar off the road.
The online listing of the car confirms that it can still be driven, and places the estimated value at a cool $316,000. Despite that sky-high price tag, the highest bid at the time of writing was just $73,500, although right now it’s $98,000 – making it unlikely to sell for less than six figures.
A quick look at the images reveals that the airbags were not deployed in the incident and while it’s impossible to say for sure, there’s a chance the car hasn’t suffered any mechanical or electrical damage. If that’s the case, it may simply need a new passenger door, side skirt, rear quarter panel, rear wing, taillight, and rear bumper to be returned to (almost) new.
Buying a badly damaged supercar is an extremely risky business, but for those that know what they’re doing, it can be quite lucrative. It will be interesting to see how much the car ultimately sells for.
