Ujjain: Classical dancers of city’s cultural organisation Pratikalpa Sanskratik Sanstha participated in ‘Raja Ranchod Ras Mahotsav’ held recently at land of Raja Ranchod, Dakor, Gujarat. The programme was based on theme Lord Krishna and Radha marriage as tribute to Raja Ranchod.
Organisation president Gulab Singh Yadav informed that Pratikalpa marked historical leap by performing classical dance Kathak, Bharatanatyam and Odissi on single stage. Along with Marathi and Malwi traditional dances based on Krishna devotion was also presented by the members.
Under the guidance of director Dr Pallavi Kishan, 14 artistes presented dance on Jaydev ki Astapadi, Natvar Leela, Alarippu and Pushpanjali based on Bharatanatyam. Artistic team comprises Dhananjay Tiwari, Paridhi Neema, Kalyani Singh Jadon, Jahnavi Telang, Palalk Makwana, Ishika Rai, Isha Vyas, Juhi Gupta, Saloni Malakar, Raveena Parmar, Arohi Pathak, Jayavi Vyas and Abhijeet Jadon. Kumar Kisan anchored the programme and Alka Jadon managed the stage performances.
