UP government to impose '0.5% COW CESS' for welfare of cows

Yogi Adityanath's government has introduced a new policy for the welfare of cows. Under this new policy, you will have to pay for cow shelters. A 0.5% cess will be levied on excised items which couldn't load alcohol apart from the toll tax. Several public sector companies will be used to fund the maintenance, construction of cow shelters across the state.
