A mother has said how she thought her daughter had been murdered after finding her in a blood-soaked bed following a sickening attack.
Jade Daniels was just minutes from home when she was assaulted in Wrexham on New Year's Eve.
The 31-year-old was stopped by a man and woman at around 2am, before being attacked, but managed to crawl home covered in blood and bruises.
After the mother-of-two was discovered by her housemate she was taken to hospital where she required stitches and was told she had suffered a fractured jaw.

Her mother Tracay Jones said: 'She was walking home and was only about five minutes away and was just on her phone going through Facebook when she bumped into a girl and a boy.
'He asked her for a chip and she said yes and then something along the lines of that's a bit cheeky. Then the woman punched the man and then punched Jade.
'We think she might have had heels in her hands because the gash in Jade's head is so bad.
'Her housemate had no idea and went into her room and found her covered in bloody and screamed and called me.
'When I got there it looked like she had been murdered as the bed was completely covered in blood and she had blood and bruises all over her. We think she managed to crawl home and then passed out.'
Ms Daniels, who has two children, was then taken to the Wrexham Maelor hospital and was told she had suffered an open fracture to her jaw.
She also had to have eight stitches underneath her eye and six stitches above it.

Ms Jones said: 'She had to be transferred to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd because of her injuries and had meeting with their facial teams. Her face is so swollen and bruised and she now has to be propped up as there is a clot at the top of her eye.
'She's covered in bruises - she's such a little thing as she's only 4ft 11 and weights about eight stone.
'This has happened just before she turns 32 - it's her birthday on Thursday.'
'She's very scared and emotional and can't eat and feels dizzy and like she wants to be sick all the time.'
Ms Daniels was discharged from Ysbyty Glan Clwyd but will need further treatment over the coming days and weeks.
Her mother said: 'At the moment there's not much more they can do because the swelling is so bad but we are getting a call tomorrow to find out more and she has an appointment again at Glan Clwyd next week.
'The police have been round today and CID have taken photos of her face.'
Ms Daniels said: 'I would like to thank everybody for your kind words and for caring... I am still trying to reply to all the messages but I can't really see it hold the phone properly, I'm in a lot of pain but I am ok, thanks again for sharing, fingers crossed they get caught xxx'
