In a clear volition of Human Rights, a lady cop deputed on Malhar Road in Sarabha Nagar area slapped the
commuters on the New year Eve on Monday night. The cop who is said to be constable was seen slapping the
youngsters who allegedly violated the traffic rules. The entire incident was recorded in the Video camera in which
it was seen that cop was slapping the people in the presence of her seniors. Despite the tall claims of Police,
the hooligans rule on roads mainly in Sarabha Nagar, Model Town and other area on the eve of New Year.The youngsters were seen playing the loud music in the vehicles and dancLady cop slaps commuters
in Ludhiana ing on roadside. The triple riding, shouting, drunk and driving was common on night of December 31.
However the heavy police force was deployed on roads mainly on Malhar Road, Sarabha nagar market and surrounding areas but even then youngsters were seen sitting on roof of cars. To tackle with the situation, the cops stopped the commuters mainly motorcyclists and slapped them in the middle of road. After the cops stopped
the motorcycle, lady cop Mandeep Kaur slapped the violators several times.

BOX: Traffic Police impose 221 challans

On the eve of New Year, the Ludhiana traffic Police has imposed 221 challans for different violations.  ACP Traffic Gurdev Singh informed that the traffic Police have imposed 221 challans including 25 of drunk and driving, 97 of
wrong parking, 25 of riding without helmet, 22 of without seat belt and 13 for jumping red signal.
