Periodicity of Jabalpur-Coimbatore-Jabalpur weekly extended till July

MANGALURU: Southern Railway, Konkan Railway and West Central Railway have decided to extend the periodicity of train 02198/02197 Jabalpur-Coimbatore-Jabalpur superfast weekly special.
During non-monsoon timings up to June 9, train 02198 Jabalpur-Coimbatore superfast weekly special will leave Jabalpur at 11am every Saturday from January 5 to June 9 and reach Coimbatore at 3.40am on the third day. Train 02197 Coimbatore-Jabalpur superfast weekly special will leave Coimbatore at 7pm every Monday from January 7 to June 9 and reach Jabalpur at 10.20am on third day.
During monsoon timings from June 10, train 02198 Jabalpur-Coimbatore superfast weekly special will leave from Jabalpur at 11am every Saturday from June 10 to June 29 and reach Coimbatore at 5am the third day. Train 02197 Coimbatore-Jabalpur superfast weekly special will leave from Coimbatore at 7pm every Monday from June 10 to July 1 and reach Jabalpur at 12.45pm the third day.
The train will halt at Narsinghpur, Gadarwara, Pipariya, Itarsi, Harda, Khandwa, Bhusaval, Manmad, Igatpuri, Panvel, Roha, Khed, Chiplun, Ratnagiri, Kankavali, Kudal, Thivim, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mulki, Mangaluru junction, Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalassery, Vadakara, Kozhikkode, Tirur, Soranur junction and Palghat stations.
Composition of the trains will be 19 coaches including one composite (2 tier + 3 tier) AC coach, two 3 tier AC coaches, 10 sleeper coaches, four general and two SLR coaches.
