New Delhi, Fuel prices continued to dip on Tuesday with petrol price cut by around 17 paise per litre across major cities of the country.
In national capital, petrol was retailing at Rs 68.65 per litre from Rs 68.84. While diesel came down to Rs 62.66 from Rs 63.86 a litre, according to the price notification of state-owned oil firms.
In Mumbai, petrol is retailing at Rs 74.30, down 17 paise from Monday’s rate of Rs 74.47 while diesel is being sold at Rs 65.56 as against Rs 65.76 on Monday, as per the figures available on Indian Oil Corporation website.
In Kolkata, petrol costs Rs 70.78 per litre while diesel is priced at Rs 64.42 a litre. In Chennai, petrol is Rs 71.22 while diesel at Rs 66.14. In Noida, petrol price was slashed by 21 paise and costs Rs 68.90 per litre.
