22 pairs of trains get temporary stoppages in January & February

PATNA: The Railway Board has granted temporary stoppages to at least 22 pairs of mail and express trains at Naini, Allahabad, Vindhyachal and Etawah stations from January 13 to 23 and February 2 to 21 next year on the occasion of the Kumbh Mela. They mostly originate from or pass through the jurisdiction of the East Central Railway (ECR).
“Trains, which will stop at Naini, include the Ranchi-Lokmanya Tilak Express (18609/18610) (every Thursday and Sunday), the Secunderabad-Danapur Express (12791/12792) (every day), Ernakulam-Patna Express (16359/16360) (every Tuesday and Wednesday), Pune-Darbhanga Express (11033/11034) (every Thursday and Saturday), Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus-Dhanbad Express (11045/11046) (every Sunday and Tuesday), Raxaul-Lokmanya Tilak Express (15267/15268) (every Sunday and Wednesday) and Udhna-Danapur Express (19063/19064) (every Wednesday, Sunday, Thursday and Monday),” ECR’s chief public relations officer (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar said on Saturday.
Similarly, five pairs of express trains have been given temporary stoppages in Allahabad to help pilgrims visit the Kumbh Mela. They are the Bhagalpur-New Delhi Express (12367/12368) (every day), Kolkata-Agra Cantt Express (12319/12320) (every Thursday and Friday), Sealdah-Anad Vihar Express (12329/12330) (every Wednesday and Thursday), Sealdah-Amritsar Express (12379/12380) (every Saturday and Monday) and Ranchi-New Delhi Express (12825/12826) (every Tuesday and Friday-Up direction and every Wednesday and Saturday-Down direction).
The Howrah-Jodhpur Express (12307/12308), Puri-New Delhi Express (12801/12802) and Dibrugarh-Delhi Express (14055/14056) will stop every day at the Vindhayachal station while the Bhagalpur-Lokmanya Tilak Express (12335/12336) will stop there every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday (Up direction) and every Wednesday, Friday and Monday (Down direction). Other trains that will stop at Vindhyachal are the Lokmanya Tilak-Guwahati Express (15645/15646, 15647/15648) (every Thursday, Sunday and Monday), Jogbani-Anand Vihar Express (12487/12488) (every day), Puri-New Delhi Express (12815/12816) (every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday), Bhagalpur-New Delhi Express (12367/12368) and Sealdah-Ajmer Express (12987/12988) (every day).
