But Jodi Anasta (née Gordon) looked happier than ever on New Year's Eve, when she was spotted soaking up the sun at Sydney's Bondi Beach.
The Neighbours star, 33, displayed a healthy figure in a stylish black bikini while enjoying a leisurely dip in the ocean.

She appeared in much better shape than when she was famously photographed at the beach in Sydney around three years ago.

During that sighting, which came shortly after she had announced her split with husband Braith Anasta, she looked worryingly thin in a pink swimsuit.
But it was an altogether different scene on Monday, as Jodi smiled and laughed while confidently parading her figure in the scorching summer heat.

Jodi and Braith, 36, confirmed their break-up in December 2015, after three years of marriage.
In an statement at the time, the former couple stated they would 'remain best of friends' for the sake of their daughter Aleeia, now four.
Braith spoke about the split in 2016, telling The Daily Telegraph that the relationship just 'wasn't [meant] to be'.

'Our break-up did not come out of the blue. We had both seen it coming for a while, we'd grown apart over the last little while and the reality was that it wasn't working. We tried very hard but it wasn't to be,' he said at the time.
Before dating Braith, Jodi was in a high-profile relationship with Channel Seven heir Ryan Stokes.
The former couple split, however, after her alleged drug scandal in 2009, when she was found by police cowering in the home of suspected Rebels bikie Mark Judge.

Officers responded to a call from Judge's Bellevue Hill home after he reported that armed men were in his backyard and trying to scale his balcony.
CCTV footage reviewed by police showed no sign of the supposed intruders, only Jodi and Judge hiding in a bedroom.
Jodi, who was best known at the time for playing Martha MacKenzie on Home and Away, allegedly told police that she had consumed cocaine that day.

Meanwhile, Braith has since moved on following his split with Jodi. He is now dating personal trainer Rachael Lee and the couple share a nine-month-old daughter, Gigi.
The retired sportsman has also taken on a stepfather role to Rachael's eight-year-old son Addison from a previous relationship.

Jodi told Daily Mail Australia last year that she remains on amicable terms with Braith and has nothing but praise for his new partner.
The soap actress said that Rachael has been a wonderful role model for Aleeia, adding that she feels 'a lot of respect for her'.
'She's an incredible mum and an incredible support to Aleeia as well, someone she can look up to,' she said.

Jodi explained that it is 'really nice' for her as a mother to know that her daughter is being taken care of when she's not around.
Braith spent New Year's Eve with Aleeia on Monday, taking to Instagram to share an sweet photo of the youngster falling asleep on his lap.
'When my princess Aleeia falls asleep not before, not after but while the nine o'clock fireworks are on!' he captioned the snap.
