Home and Away's Kate Ritchie reveals she 'wants to learn sign language' for her daughter Mae in 2019
With the New Year comes lofty New Year's resolutions.
And on Tuesday, former Home and Away star Kate Ritchie revealed her rather unique goals for 2019.
The 40-year-old told The Daily Telegraph she wanted improve her horse riding skills 'and learn sign language with [her] four-year-old daughter, Mae.'

'They will most likely be the same this time next year,' she added.
Neither Kate or her daughter are hearing impaired, making her New Year's resolution rather unexpected.
However, the pair do certainly spend a lot of time together.

On Saturday, Kate enjoyed a day out with Mae at Callala Beach, a small town on the New South Wales south coast.
She took to Instagram to share a photo of herself in a polka dot swimsuit while washing off the sand under an outdoor shower.
In the picture, she carried little Mae in her arms while throwing her head back.
'Summer days for days!' the Nova FM star captioned the holiday snap.

Kate and her husband, former NRL star Stuart Webb, doted on their daughter over the Christmas period.
The couple are rarely seen in public together, which has fuelled speculation their marriage could be on the rocks.
However, they did attend Carols in the Domain as a family on December 22.
