Valery Voyles, who was named to Automotive News' list of 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry in 2015, has been inducted into the Coles College Business Hall of Fame at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga. Voyles is CEO of Ed Voyles Automotive Group, which also partnered with KSU Athletics to fund 25 athletic scholarships over five years.
Serra Toyota in Birmingham, Ala., has made a $10,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama as part of its pledge of $50,000, from 2017 to 2021, which will double to $100,000 as part of Toyota's Dealer Match program. Steve Serra presented the most recent donation last month.
Mohawk Honda in Glenville, N.Y., under the leadership of CEO Jeff Haraden, has announced donations of $10,000 each to 10 local charities in celebration of the dealership's 100th anniversary in 2019. The 10 charities are: Vanderheyden Hall in Troy, N.Y.; City Mission of Schenectady; Special Olympics New York – Capital Region; Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Capital Region; Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society – Upstate New York/Vermont; Autism Society of the Greater Capital Region; American Suicide Prevention Foundation – Capital Region NY Chapter; Equinox of Albany; and Newmeadow School.
