To improve the cleanliness ranking of the city in the upcoming Swachh Survekshan (clean survey)- 2019 which will take place between January 4 and January 31 next year, the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (JMC) will motivate all the stakeholders. For this, the JMC will organise an orientation program for different sections of society and will give them information about the clean survey. The municipal corporation has issued two weeks activity calendar for this.
The officials of JMC organised an orientation program for its officials on Friday in which acting mayor Manoj Bhardwaj and JMC commissioner ML Yadav gave information to the officials about the rules, category and point system of the survey. Now, there will be an orientation program for officers of different departments and agencies associated with the clean survey on January 2. The officers of JMC, JDA, District Administration, Railways and other departments will be provided with clean survey information.
In addition, the orientation programs for the film theatre and multiplex owner, businessmen, NGOs, councillors, residents welfare societies, self-help group, hotel, restaurant and marriage garden operator and school, college and coaching centre management will be organised. All municipal officials have been made in charge of various wards across the city for the survey. In addition to the Deputy Commissioners of eight zones of the municipal corporation, officers of revenue and engineering cell have also been given the charge.
