Cold wave to continue for 2 days

AHMEDABAD: According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), the minimum temperature for Ahmedabad remained below 10 degrees celsius on third consecutive day on Saturday with 9.3°C.

The IMD website forecast mentioned cold wave condition for next two days for Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat. As per the website, cold wave conditions prevailed in south Gujarat and Kutch region of Gujarat with northeasterly and easterly winds.


The conditions will prevail on December 30 and 31 in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Valsad, Surat, Navsari, Kutch, Bhavnagar and Rajkot. Naliya was the coldest place with minimum temperature of 6°C, followed by Kandla (6.7°C), Vadodara (7.2°C), Gandhinagar (7.6°C) and Deesa (7.8°C). Maximum temperature was below 30°C in majority of the cities of Gujarat.
