Ray Houghton, 61, has covered his entire body with intricate designs after having his genitals tattooed on Christmas Eve
A bodybuilder has succeeded in covering his entire body with intricate designs after getting an extremely delicate tattoo for Christmas.
Ray Houghton, 61, from Manchester, can claim to have at least one tattoo on every body part after undergoing the eye-watering four-hour of inking - on his genitals.
He now boasts an impressive full body suit of ink which cost £7,500 and required more than 240 hours of tattooing over two years.
Fitness fanatic, Ray, who lives in Spain and owns his own gym, became hooked on inking after having eight 'embarrassing' tattoos covered up.
He was reluctant to show off his impressive muscles because of tattoos he had done during his time in the Royal Artillery as a teenager.
But this bid to reclaim his confidence turned into an obsession - and Ray embarked on a mission to have his whole body tattooed to cover up his 'ageing' skin.
Ray says he now feels complete and '20 years younger' after having his private parts tattooed in a four hour sitting.

But it wasn't without complications and Ray's testicles swelled up to 'four times' their normal size following the sitting.
He said: 'I don't feel the pain anymore but the tattooist couldn't believe I wanted to get such a sensitive area done.'
Ray, who lives in Spain with his fiance Pamela Hunt, 53, added: 'I was so desperate to get it done. I didn't like to look in the mirror and see my ageing skin. I like to look young.

'We used a rolling pin because that was the easiest way for the tattoo to be done. You can't just do it on a bench or work top.
'It was quite weird at first but it made a lot of sense. It worked out perfect really.'
Father-of-one Ray had the procedure done on Christmas Eve in the comfort of his gym after searching for three months to find an artist willing to take on the work.
He now feels 'complete' for the first time in his life - as well as decades younger - with the only part of his body without a tattoo being the top of his head.
His face, hands, feet and even his bum are covered in Maori-inspired designs.
While in the Royal Artillery Ray got tattoos on his arms and legs in a caravan near the base from a man called 'Sailor Bill'.
But the eight inkings - including a boat, the words 'mum' and 'dad', a naked woman and a Geisha - 'weren't spectacular'.
With the tattoos now covered up - and his whole body tattooed from head to toe - Ray says he can't wait to show off is body in all its glory at a local nudist beach.
He says he 'feels like a celebrity' when he walks down the street in Spain, as people stop him to dish out compliments for the way he looks.
Ray said: 'I had age spots and scars that I were ashamed of. But now I am proud to go along to the nudist beach. People tell me they can't believe how good I look for my age.
'I feel like a celebrity and I love people staring at me.

Ray opened a gym and started competing in bodybuilding competitions and was crowned North West coast Champion in 1989.
But despite being the envy of his gym pals with a 54 inch chest, 18.5 inch bicep, and 34 inch waist, he wasn't happy with his body because of his 'ugly' tattoos.
Even after his older tattoos were covered up, he was still left unsatisfied by how his penis was just 'bare skin' surrounded by ink.
He said: 'Those old tattoos were done when I was 17. They were disgusting.
'Now I'm proud to show my body off again and I can't wait to show people my body in full. I love it.
'None of the tattoos were really painful at all to have done, even this last one.
'I feel complete when I look in the mirror now. It was the perfect Christmas present really.'
Ray was back to work as a personal trainer two days after getting the tattoos done.
Despite being sore at first, his private parts have now fully healed.
