Indian batsman Rohit Sharma, who is currently a part of the tour to Australia, revealed he is going to be a father soon. In an exclusive chat with former Australian skipper Michael Clarke, he revealed how his teammates reacted to this news.

Rohit said that it was a happy surprise for his teammates and they started laughing when they heard the news.

The Hitman also said that “I cannot wait to be a father; it is going to be a game-changing moment in our lives”.

Clarke agreed with Rohit saying that his life has also changed once his baby girl was born as he became a calmer person.

Rohit went on to say how difficult it was for a sportsman as due to the hectic schedule they do not get to spend enough time with their family.

Rohit slammed an unbeaten 63 off 114 balls in the first innings in the first innings of the third Test match against Australia. However, he managed to score a mere five runs in 18 balls before he was dismissed by Josh Hazlewood in the second innings. Rohit had miss the first two matches due to an injury.
