MP Congress legislator upset over not getting cabinet berth

MLA Rajyavardhan Singh 'Dattigaon' has expressed displeasure over not being included in the Kamal Nath-led Cabinet.

Addressing party workers in his constituency of Dhar on Thursday evening, he said not giving him a ministerial position was "an insult to the people of his area".

An emotionally charged Singh also threatened to resign as an MLA.

He scoffed at the decision to give ministerial berths to former Digvijay Singh's son and former Deputy Jamuna Devi's relative Umang Singhar, among others.

The said he was not considered for a cabinet rank as he "is the son of a common man".
