Today is the 134th Foundation Day of the Indian National Congress. Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh and several party leaders were at the Flag hoisting ceremony at the AICC Headquarters in New Delhi.

Sri Lanka set massive 660 to chase

In the Christchurch Test, New Zealand declared their second innings on day three at 585 for 4 with centuries by Tom Latham (176) and Henry Nicholls (162). That left Sri Lanka chasing a mammoth 660.

After India declared at 443 for 7 on day 2, the Indian seamers reduced Australia to 89 for 4 at lunch. Jasprit Bumrah troubled the batsmen the most picking up two wickets while Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja picked up the other two.
