Kolkata to get more flights to MP and Assam from January

KOLKATA: SpiceJet will add two more destinations from Kolkata in the new year with daily flights to Lilabari and Jabalpur under the regional connectivity scheme from January 15.
The Jabalpur-Kolkata flight will take off at 8am and reach the city at 10.10am. The Kolkata-Jabalpur flight will take off at 6.10pm and reach the town at 8.10pm.
On Kolkata-Lilabari sector, the flight will take off from the city at 10.40am and reach Lilabari at 12.35pm. The return flight will take off from Lilabari at 1.05pm and land here at 3.05pm.
SpiceJet will operate the Bombardier Q400 aircraft on the two routes. The airline announced introductory promotional fare starting Rs 3,700 on the flight between Kolkata and Lilabari and Rs 3,969 on the flight between Kolkata and Jabalpur.
SpiceJet chief sales & revenue officer Shilpa Bhatia said, "SpiceJet is proud to add the picturesque destination of Lilabari on its domestic network. We have always remained steadfast in enhancing connectivity to the north-eastern region which owing to its difficult topography has always suffered from connectivity limitations. We are confident that both flights will provide impetus to tourism."
