Man, 40, miraculously survives after plummeting more than 15 metres down the side of a cliff before landing on rocks below

  • A man miraculously survived with minor injuries after falling 15 metres from cliff
  • The man reportedly slipped form the top of the cliff early on Thursday morning 
  • He was winched to safety by an Ambulance helicopter and taken to hospital 

A 40-year-old man miraculously survived a 15 metre down a cliff face on Thursday.  

New South Wales Ambulance were called to Elenora Heights in Sydney's north at 9am after reports a man had lost his footing and fell through several trees before landing on rocks at the base.  

A NSW Ambulance spokesman told Daily Mail Australia it was amazing the man survived.

A NSW Ambulance rescue helicopter was sent to winch the man to safety before transporting him to the Royal North Shore Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. 

A number of ambulances were also called to the scene to render assistance. 

The ambulance spokesman said the man was very lucky he didn't suffer any life-threatening injuries.
