At least five people died and two people, including a fireman, were injured on Thursday, 27 December, after a level-3 fire broke out on the 14th floor of the Sargam society in Mumbai's Chembur, reported ANI.

Firefighting operations are underway with five fire engines and four water tankers reportedly at the spot.

The incident took place around 7:50 pm. The injured are undergoing treatment at Rajawadi Hospital.
