A Christmas Eve chase around residential streets ended with a car being abandoned in a playground by a man already banned from the road for six years, a court heard.
Barry Griffiths, 44, of Cae Mur in Caernarfon, was sent to prison for 12 weeks by magistrates at Llandudno.
He pleaded guilty to driving the Fiat Punto when banned, with excess alcohol, careless driving, failing to stop for a PC, and having no insurance.
Angela Narey, prosecuting, described the Christmas Eve chase by police in Caernarfon, after which Griffiths had been arrested when walking in the street.
A breath test showed a reading of 64, the limit being 35. He had numerous previous offences, including for driving when banned and with excess alcohol.
Last August, he'd been banned for six years for being at the wheel when disqualified.
Glyn Roberts, defending, said Griffiths took a "pragmatic" view about the sentence. His best defence was the admissions.
Court chairman David Subbachi told him: "This was aggravated by the fact there was a chase by the police and alcohol was involved."
His six-year ban was extended to 74 months.
