Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar displayed its connection and attachment with elements of nature

Jalandhar, December 26, 2018: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar displayed its connection and attachment with elements of nature by bagging prestigious awards in the three day Floriculture exhibition and Rangoli competitions held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
College Principal Dr.Gurpinder Singh Samra informed that the college participated in eight various events concerning flower varieties and Rangoli. The college team subsequently won first ranks in Dry Flower Rangoli prepared by college student Surjit Singh in addition to other top prizes in par grass, lemongrass and secular plant category whilst also bagging second positions in Duban Becia and Snake Plant category. He also informed that the college enthusiastically participates in the annual Flower show organised by Guru Nanak Dev University and the previous edition of the same competition also saw the college teams claiming top positions in all categories.
Principal Dr. GS Samra also highlighted the college's tremendous achievements in academics and extra co curricular activities simultaneously.
Also present on this occasion were Prof. S.S Bains, Prof. Jaswinder Kaur, Prof. Geetanjli Moudgil, Prof. Gitanjali Mahajan, Prof. Ajit Pal Singh, Prof. Saveena Ralhan along with students and members of the garden maintenance team of the college.
