People across the world will assemble for Christmas mass tonight (December 24), post which the celebrations will kick off to mark the birth of Jesus Christ. Popular customs include exchanging gifts, decorating Christmas trees, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends, and waiting for Santa Claus to arrive.
