CBSE 12th exam from Feb 15, check these tips to score better

NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the date sheet for the 2019 board examinations for the class 10th and 12th students. As per the schedule, the exams for Class 12 will begin from February 15, 2019, which will continue till April 3.

The students are already thriving hard to cross the benchmark of 90% as the competition to get admissions into the best colleges has immensely increased. To help students in their board exam preparation, here we are providing some tips that might help them perform better and fetch more marks:

  • Use NCERT books to get the crux of the basic concepts and practice all the questions at the back and in between the chapters,including the HOTS.
  • Practice previous years question papers, so as to get a clue about the Board examinations question paper
  • Practice papers and Sample papers can be referred as they are just an extension of the NCERT syllabus.
  • Don’t ignore English as a subject because the Science and Commerce students focus maximum on their stream subjects and end up getting less in language paper.
  • Keep time management into an account so as to ensure that the exam gets finished timely and there is an ample time for the last minute revision and an insurance that no question is left/skipped.
  • Focus on the cleanliness of the answer sheet as a neat examination sheet can help in fetching extra marks.
  • Tie the supplement sheets taken properly to the main sheet so that it is not loose
  • For the Science and Commerce students ,the formulas should be on the tips
  • Get rid of your subject phobias and concentrate to ease your mind
  • Hard work is unnecessarily important but at the same time ensure not to ignore health.Ample sleeps and a good diet is equally important to ensure the mind functions properly

  • The parents should ensure that the students get a study atmosphere at home and not pressurize them every now and then
  • Accompanying the students to the boards examinations center will be motivational
