Shankar Lal SME IPO gains on Day 1

Shares of Shankar Lal Rampal Dye-chem closed with a gain of 4 per cent at ₹46.15 on the BSE-SME platform against the issue price of ₹45.

Shankar Lal Rampal Dye-chem became the 279th company to get listed on the BSE SME Platform on December 24, the BSE said in a statement.

Shankar Lal Rampal Dye-chem came out with an initial public offering of 16.2 lakh shares of ₹10 each at ₹45 a share, aggregating to ₹7.29 crore. The company has successfully completed its public issue on December 14.

The Rajasthan-based company is engaged in trading of dyes and chemicals since 2005. The company specialises in hydrogen peroxide, sodium-bi-carbonate, sodium meta bi sulphite, soda ash light, linear alkyl benzene sulphonic acid and other chemicals.
