Father-son found dead in Ghaziabad field

GHAZIABAD: A father-son duo was murdered in Niwadi area of Ghaziabad on Sunday allegedly over a land dispute in their family. The victims have been identified as Preetam Singh (70) and his son Subash (35).
Police suspect the murders were committed by Singh’s younger son Bablu over family dispute. He is currently absconding. Police said, throats of the two men had been slit with a sharp-edged weapon. “Investigations have revealed that Bablu had been living separately from his father Preetam Singh and his family and had a dispute with his father over land,” SP (rural) Arvind Maurya said.
