AMBALA: Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday inaugurated a community health centre (CHC) in Chourmastpur in Ambala city.
The CHC has been constructed at the cost of Rs 5.9 crore.
The CM also laid foundation stones for Mata Gujar Kaur Veterinary College at Lakhnaur Sahib village, a Mini Secretariat in Ambala City and a Swarna Jayanti Park in Premnagar area.
While addressing a gathering the CM talked about his government’s stand against corruption saying the Bharatiya Janata Party is working for the welfare of the people of the state.
“Earlier, the officials, employees, leaders, and even the people were involved in corruption and there was 51% corruption in Haryana. Our government has reduced this by 32%. We are working to remove remaining 19% and for this, the public needs to stop indulging in corrupt practices.”
The CM advised the farmers to insure their crops.
Slamming JJP founder Dushyant Chautala and the Indian National Lok Dal, Khattar said, “They are not fighting for the public, but they are fighting to divide the property they have acquired after looting people. It is clear from the results of five municipal corporations elections that the public trusts the BJP as it has done the development.”
Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party workers released black balloons outside the CM's rally venue as a mark of protest.
