BJP misused official machinery in Jasdan: Dhanani

Surat: Leader of opposition in Gujarat assembly Paresh Dhanani said Congress accepts the verdict of Jasdan people where in the assembly byelection ruling BJP’s Kunwarji Bavaliya defeated Congress nominee Avsar Nakia on Sunday.
Dhanani told TOI, “Our fight for common people will continue. The BJP has misused the government machinery during the byelection. Congress will always stand up for farmers and poor people.”
He also visited New Civil Hospital where students injured in the bus accident in Dang on Saturday are admitted. “We request the state government that those injured in the accident be given the best treatment.” However, Dhanani wondered how could 97 people travel in a bus which had space only for 54? At least 10 people, including seven children, were killed when the bus in which they were travelling in fell into a gorge.
