There was ruckus to get tickets for the Kannada film, KGF, being screened at Alankar cinema here on Friday morning. Finally, the police arrived on the spot and controlled the situation.
The cinema has a seating capacity of 500. But for the morning show at 10 a.m., there were nearly 1,000 film-goers waiting in the queue for tickets.
Though the theatre supervisor told those waiting that they would be issued tickets for the matinee show at 1 p.m., if they come to stand in queue at 11 a.m., it had little or no impact on them.
After the arrival of the police, the film-goers dispersed. However, they then stood in queue for the matinee show as soon as the morning show began.
