Cape Town - Cape Town City roared back from a 2-0 deficit to beat Bloemfontein Celtic 3-2 in Saturday's incredible five-goal thriller at the Cape Town Stadium.
In the fifth minute the visitors hit the front as an individual error from Peter Leeuwenburgh saw Ndumiso Mabena presented with a chance to bundle home from close range which he duly did.
City tried to respond and a cross into the box from Surprise Ralani found Siphelele Mthembu, who steered his effort over the bar in the 15th minute.
However, Siwelele made it 2-0 just before the 20th minute mark as Given Mashikinya's late run into the area saw him convert beyond the hapless Leeuwenburgh.
With that said, Ebrahim Seedat went close with a shot from outside the box from distance after winning possession back from Celtic.
Nonetheless, inside the hour mark City pulled one back as Siphelele Mthembu headed home following a period of sustained pressure.
The onslaught continued as Shane Roberts showed good ability to set up Ralani who levelled matters in the 72nd minute.
Three minutes later the comeback was complete as Ralani showed impressive instincts to hit the winner with 15 minutes left in the contest.
Steve Komphela's men were truly rattled as it ended 3-2 to the Citizens on the day in the final outing in the PSL for 2018 for both sides.
