Rajini TV may precede actor's party
B Sivakumar | TNN | Dec 23, 2018, 03:21 ISTActor Rajinikanth may not have picked a name for his political party, but his fan club has obtained permission for two names for TV channels from the Union commerce ministry. Rajini Makkal Mandram secretary V M Sudhakar, better known as Sudhakar Rajinikanth, applied for the ministry's approval for three names - Thalaivar TV, Rajini TV and Superstar TV - to start channels. The ministry's department of industrial policy and promotion approved two names - Thalaivar TV and Rajini TV. The actor has not objected to his fan club using his name.
