ILG to organize ‘Yugaantar’ in January
TNN | Dec 22, 2018, 04:12 ISTVadodara: M S University’s Institute of Leadership and Governance (ILG) will organise ‘Yugaantar’ – a national youth conference between January 25 and January 27.
The three days conference aims to provide a platform to young students and researchers from various educational institutes across the country to share their views on highly relevant themes, ILG officials said here on Friday, adding that the conference is being organised to imbibe a sense of nationalism among the youth.
“Consequently the topics included are - nation, nationality and citizenship, state and society, nationalism, citizens for the nation and nation for citizens, cultural nationalism. From ‘controversies to clarity’ is the agenda,” a release issued by ILG said.
The conference will have six speakers prominent among them being General J J Singh, the 22nd chief of the army staff of the Indian Army and the first Sikh to have led the Indian Army.
The other speakers include rebel Congress leader Shehzad Poonawalla, Gujarat coordinator for research department of All India Congress Committee Shweta Brahmbhatt, founder of Ignited Minds organisation Vinay Patrale, chairman of the All India Anti-Terrorist Front Maninderjeet Singh Bitta and former vice-chancellor of M S University professor Yogesh Singh.
