A joint action committee was formed here on Friday under the aegis of the Kozhikode District Legal Services Authority to act against drug abuse. Office-bearers of the committee said its services would begin with sensitising people to the menace of drug abuse. The support of various residents’ associations and Kudumbashree units will be sought for the initiative, they said.
