Three romantic proposals ended in disaster on Friday morning after a hot air balloon carrying the lucky couple crash landed into a tree.
The disastrous flight saw the Triple M branded balloon become wedged in a tree near a reserve in Melbourne's Eltham at 7.30am after it ran low on fuel.
Up to 10 people were in the craft at the time but no one was injured in the crash, a Country Fire Authority spokesman said.

Brendan O’Loughlin, 29, was one of three blokes who popped the big question during the flight.
Mr O’Loughlin got down one knee inside the basket and asked his girlfriend Emma Govan, 30, to marry him moments before the balloon came crashing down.
Despite the rough landing, they all said yes.
'I can’t wipe the smile off my face,' Ms Govan told The Herald Sun.
'It’s going to be one to remember.'

Changing winds caused the balloon to go off course, Ms Govan said, which was why they had to land in the tight spot.
Commercial ballooning industry spokesman Damian Crock told the Daily Mail the balloon landed safely and it was only the fabric that was caught in the tree.
However, emergency service crews were forced to use a chainsaw to chop the balloon free, ultimately destroying it.
The Daily Mail has contacted the balloon company for comment.
