Los Angeles: The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards organisers are doing away with the red carpet for the gala's 25th anniversary.
SAG has partnered with Reynolds Wrap and will be rolling out the aluminium foil to honour the awards ceremony's silver anniversary next year, reported etonline.com.
"We are thrilled to bring our iconic Reynolds Wrap silver to life in such a distinctive way. We look forward to rolling out the Silver Carpet," said Lisa Burns, Vice President of Marketing, Reynolds Consumer Products.
SAG Awards Executive Producer Kathy Connell said: "The Silver Carpet is a lovely way to celebrate our Silver Anniversary."
The 25th Annual SAG Awards will be held on January 27.
